Doraemon tumbler made of tin by Nousaku
Doraemon is popular all over the world. Its creator, Fujiko F. Fujio, was born in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture. Doraemon has been turned into a 100% tin tumbler using Takaoka's traditional craft techniques.
Tin has long been used for sake and tea utensils, as it is said that "water stored in a tin container will not spoil" and "the unpleasant taste of sake is removed, making it mellow." Tin also has antibacterial properties, so it can be used safely as tableware. Tin has a high thermal conductivity, so you can enjoy a well-chilled drink by chilling the container in the refrigerator for 1-2 minutes.
The sight of Doraemon swaying back and forth is soothing.
*Doraemon's face will be turned upside down when in use.Product Information
