[Ginpan Sake Brewery Co., Ltd.]

Ginpan Sake is located in a scenic natural environment overlooking the Kurobe Gorge in the Northern Alps. Brewing began in September 1910, and the brewery was founded in Ogyu Village, where sake is said to have gushed forth in ancient times. The brewery uses the famous waters of the current Kurobe River alluvial fan springs (selected by the Environment Agency as one of Japan's 100 famous waters in 1985. The Kurobe River was ranked number one in the Ministry of Construction's clean river ranking for the fourth time in 1998) as its brewing water, and has lavishly polished Yamada Nishiki rice, which is suitable for sake brewing, and conducted extensive research. With the belief that "ingredients come first," the brewery invests in raw rice, polishing the rice in a factory equipped with computer-controlled brewing machines and large tanks.
